Pitch Deck for the Motion Picture (Advanced DECK)

“Lemon Tree”

Norma Jean and her seven-year-old daughter Char have been living out of their car, one denied housing voucher away from the street. Desperate for a warm bed on the coldest night of the year, they accept the hospitality of an affluent Black family at a beachfront estate shaded by a lemon tree — and discover exactly what their hosts have been feeding it. A social horror where the threat isn't across a racial line but within the community itself — about a mother protecting her child, and what "pulling yourself up" costs when it becomes a religion.

“SETI”

When COVID-19 empties his dorm, Gabe — a foster kid finishing the VR console he's spent his whole life building — intercepts a signal that shouldn't exist. What looks like a bug turns out to be first contact, and the visitors who answer back want more than conversation. A monster-in-the-house horror with a sci-fi heart, built for gamers and non-gamers alike.

“The Wonderful and Fantastical Adventures of Silver McCloux”

In a 31st-century dystopia, a tyrant convinced a firstborn son will be his downfall has decreed that all male infants be seized by the state — executed, or raised into his militia. Silver McCloux enforced that very decree herself, until she discovered she's pregnant. Now a fugitive from the system she once served, she strikes a bargain with Death to keep her child safe. Narrated by the Grim Reaper, this dystopian fable is about the wars we wage to protect what we love.
